'Living a Nightmare': Families of Unaccounted For Teenagers Desperately Seek Information After Alpine Inferno

The relatives of teenagers lost after a devastating inferno at a bar in a Switzerland's winter destination are enduring an agonising wait for confirmed information and appealing for any details about their family members via social media.

The blaze ripped through the a popular bar in Cans-Montana, located in the mountains of the Valais region, in the early hours of New Year's Day. Verified footage reveal the ceiling being engulfed in flames as beverages with fireworks are held aloft.

Officials have indicated that it could take days if not weeks to formally name the victims of the fire, which claimed the lives of numerous partygoers and wounded another scores more. Officials noted on the latest update that 113 of the injured have been accounted for, with work ongoing to locate the other six.

In the meantime, relatives have been using the internet to request clues about their missing relatives who were in attendance that night.

Heartbreaking Pleas for the Unaccounted For

The location of teenager from Switzerland Arthur Brodard, sixteen, are currently unknown, according to an appeal from his parent.

Her sibling has shared an urgent request online, saying the family has had "no news" regarding the 15-year-old or the three friends she was with, who are also unaccounted for.
