Plane Transporting Pete Hegseth Required to Touch Down in UK Due to Fracture in Cockpit Window

A jet transporting the US defense secretary was forced to make an emergency landing in the Britain on Wednesday following a fracture was discovered in the aircraft's cockpit window, per an official statement which verified that the secretary was unharmed.

"The jet touched down following standard protocol and all passengers, including Defense Secretary Hegseth, is unharmed," a spokesperson said in a public statement.

Hegseth was returning from a short visit to the city of Brussels during the flight.

This occurrence isn't the first occasion that a US military aircraft carrying a top government figure has encountered technical problems.
